We wanderers, ever seeking the lonelier way, begin no day where we have ended another day; and no sunrise finds us where sunset left us. Even while the earth sleeps we travel. We are the seeds of the tenacious plant, and it is in our ripeness and our fullness of heart that we are given to the wind and are scattered. Once a person has traveled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey. It was such an amazing experience that I had this time at Srinagar which multiplied several times when I booked my stay at "The Lalit Grand Palace- Srinagar". It was an experience in itself taking myself to behold the beauty of such a beautiful place for forever.
The best highlight of my stay at such an amazing property was the hospitality that I received at this grandeur, which left me mesmerised beyond my expectations in such a way that I was looked after so well. The dining has been a wonderful experience in itself and the staff is extremely hospitable. The rooms at this property are beautifully done with the pleasant decors. The hotel is at a walking distance from the serene Dal Lake. What would one ask for more in life when one can walk down to Dal lake from the place of stay. I do not remember the amount of time I spent at this beauty giving one of the most cherished experiences of life.
The apple orchard and the flower gardens are beautiful beyond imagination. The rooms are lit so beautifully that would take the mind to travel down and make beautiful memories with this place for ever and ever. The staff has been amazingly courteous and helpful with food quality and the varieties being exotic and spellbound.
One of the best memory has been the picturesque locale, especially the time at the coffee shop overlooking the flowing river with sipping a cup of coffee with the pleasant surprise of goodies like the Trimasu had been greatly appealing and appetising both to the senses and the taste buds after the amazing walk through the place. One great addition had been the gift shop at the hotel which had curated gifts and souvenir books. I could get hold on a lot of things which I brought as beautiful gatherings and gifts for myself, family and friends.
The experience has been much like heaven in heaven on Earth in the truest sense of the terms.
